The evolution of the light bulb is here, are you ready for it? With all the recent talk about the final phase out of incandescent bulbs resulting from the 2007 EISA effective on January 1st, where do you stand in relation to the rest of the country when it comes to your thoughts on the profound changes in the lighting market?
Here are some highlights from the recently posted Osram Sylvania annual socket survey from 2013:
Roughly 60% of the participants noted that they are excited for Americans to switch to using more energy-efficient light bulbs, while only 18% say that they are still worried about the change since they prefer using traditional bulbs. How do your thoughts compare to this survey? Have you already upgraded to CFLs or LEDs? If not, will you be doing so shortly? What are your reservations, if any? Or, will you stock up on all the incandescent bulbs you can until they’re gone?Â
